We don’t know. But we do have reasons to believe they don’t take passenger safety very seriously.

Why ?

Mainly because they seems to be very obsessed with Ads Campaign ie the highly lucrative creative business while the real issue in this case is actually a ‘Criminal’ one — Air Safety of Passengers has been compromised during their infamous Cockpit Oral Sex Scandal, allegedly.

Cathay Pacific thinks Sex is a lot more important than Passenger Safety ?

Cathay Pacific Corporate Governance Is A Big Suspect

Either that is the case or there could be big corporate ‘corruption’ taking place between the airline and the advertising agency… Ads dollars spent by airline and particularly Cathay Pacific is astronomical. As such, it naturally raises the question of Corporate Governance when the top guns are so obsessed with Ads Campaign while there is massive Air Safety threat or something in that direction.

Otherwise, how do you explain they only talk about Ads Campaign focusing on Sex when the Real Issue is actually Compromised Passenger Safety ?

Next, we shall find out who runs Cathay Pacific and what is their corporate protocols like ? Because we really find it hard to believe such a massive airline is run under some third-world-sounding standards … This is merely our perception of course, nothing is concretely factual yet.

Anyway, here is their latest ‘show’ which we have no idea what is there to shout about ? Good job nonetheless. But we’re very disappointed nothing has been done to address the compromised safety of their passengers part, perceived or real.

We suggest their board to review their own operation ASAP … We think something is very wrong when people feel not only their safety has been compromised, their safety appears to be a lot lesser worthy than ‘kickback’ from Ads campaigns ? No, we have no clue, but it does like that could be the case.

One Mile at a Time – Cathay Pacific’s “cool new” ad campaign!

Cathay Pacific has long had advertising campaigns that showcase the lives of their employees. They were going to launch an ad campaign last month, which was supposed to be entitled “meet the team that goes the extra mile.”

Unfortunately due to the sex scandal involving a Cathay Pacific pilot receiving oral sex in the cockpit they had to delay it.

In the meantime they simply renamed the ad campaign to “People. They make an airline.”

Note they say “Simply Renaming !” (they just say “cool new” ad campaign, didn’t they ?) … and such thing (renaming) is supposed to be ‘Cool & Creative”  … What kind of third world standard is this is supposed to be ?

Anyway, check out the four ads below:

The writer continues to say: -

I really like the ads. I can’t say they’re necessarily all that effective since they don’t really showcase any cutting edge product or call for action on the part of the consumer, though they sure are “feel good.”

All we can say is … “Bizzarre !”

Anyway, we still see no nothing has been done to address the Air Safety “Crime” on their passenger as well as other related problem directly due to the airborne sex scandal. It all remains intact.

Cathay Pacific Pilot Stewardess Cockpit Oral Sex Scandal

And we have said it all along, considering that sort of blunders occurred under the nose of Cathay Pacific’s top guns and yet they still have no idea how to rectify them, it only makes sense some of the big guys be made responsible for the incident/blunder.

At least one or two of the top guys would have been fired if only the airline is run by world class management such as how Hewlett-Packard fired its CEO Leo Apotheker.

Obviously this Chinese Airline although heavily stuffed by imported foreign aliens, they’re operating using either Chinese Local Standard or perhaps some other Third World Standard as yardstick … Want an idea what is Chinese Safety Standard like ? See things like Sex Slavery Scandal, Gutter Oil Scandal, Fake Buns Scandal etc (search this site).

We Goodizen.com will continue to ensure safety of Joe Public is not to be taken for granted. And monitoring Cathay Pacific we will … Here are some related articles: -
