Las Vegas Sheriff Lambardo claims investigators found child porn on Paddocks but months earlier he claimed that the laptop recovered on the scene had its hard drives missing. Confusing developments.
On Oct. 1, 2017, Stephen Paddock opened fire on a country music festival from a hotel room in Las Vegas, killing 58 and injuring hundreds. Since the shooting, little to no information has been released to reveal a motive for the tragedy.
But on Friday, Sheriff Joseph Lombardo held his first press conference since Oct. 13, 2017, and he shared an 81-page preliminary investigative report. He stated, “I realize it’s been three months since you have received an update on the 1 October shooting. We have done a lot of work trying to piece together what happened.”
The sheriff explained they had gone through over 2,000 leads and sifted through 21,560 hours of video. According to Lombardo, an unnamed person of interest is being looked into by the FBI, and it is not Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley. He also stated that they still believe Paddock was the lone shooter.
Perhaps the most disturbing detail the sheriff released was that investigators found “numerous” accounts of child pornography on the shooter’s computer as well as recent online searches for SWAT tactics and other potential targets he was looking into.
According to recently released court documents, Paddock’s girlfriend told authorities they might find her fingerprints on the bullets because she occasionally assisted him in loading magazines. Danley was also discovered to have deleted her Facebook account an hour before Paddock’s name was released publicly.
Despite months of investigation, it is still unclear what Paddock’s motive was.

FBI Cremate Stephen Paddock’s Body Against Family’s Wishes
The FBI have cremated the body of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock against the family’s wishes, and despite the fact that the case remains unsolved.
Paddock’s brother, Eric Paddock, said Wednesday that authorities have bizarrely refused to ship the remains of Stephen over to him in Orlando, Florida, insisting that he collects the remains in Las Vegas himself.
Reviewjournal.com reports: “The coroner seems to think that there has to be some chain of custody because of the criminal investigation,” Paddock said. “But his remains have nothing to do with the investigation.”
Fudenberg told Paddock that he would try to ship the ashes to the Orlando Police Department and then have the department deliver the remains to him, Paddock said.
But that did not sit well with Paddock, who said he was frustrated over his discussions with the coroner and his office.
“The coroner originally told me that he had constructed a plan to have the FBI deliver the remains and this was not the truth,” Paddock said. “He told me he was going to do something, but he didn’t have it in place.”
Fudenberg had sent Stephen Paddock’s brain tissue to Stanford University School of Medicine for a neuropathological examination to look for possible disorders that might explain his erratic behavior. On Oct. 1, Paddock fired into a crowd of concertgoers with high-powered rifles from his 32nd-floor Mandalay Bay hotel room, leaving 58 people dead and more than 500 others injured.
Eric Paddock said his family did not object to the Stanford examination of his brother’s brain.
Fudenberg released a statement Wednesday afternoon.
“We are working to deliver the remains in a secure manner to ensure the suspect’s next of kin receives the remains,” he said. “Due to security concerns, we will not be discussing any details related to this.
“As you know, we recently released the cause and manner of death in this case.”
In December, Fudenberg said publicly that the 64-year-old shooter, a high-rolling video poker player on the Strip, died from a self-inflicted gunshot to the mouth and ruled his death a suicide.
Police have indicated that Paddock killed himself as officers closed in on his hotel room.
Eric Paddock said the family has not received any additional information, including an autopsy report.
“I have no knowledge of the autopsy report, neither the content nor the release date,” Paddock said.
Paddock told the Review-Journal that he does not intend to keep his brother’s remains at his home in Orlando.
“I’m putting the ashes in a safe deposit box in a bank in order to make sure that there’s no hoopla around Steve’s remains,” Paddock said. “I don’t want someone to do something stupid.”
LV Police Releases New Report – “Numerous photographs of child pornography” in Paddock’s possession
With all the focus on FISA today, it seems like suspicious timing for a LV briefing. The full report includes new photos and information regarding the investigation, but many curious details are present.
First, the investigation has stated so far there is “no motive”. Secondly, Paddock had multiple instances of CP on his computer.
RocketSurgeon22: What does child pornography have to do with the actual investigation?
TheModernMage: What bothers me with this whole thing is that his brother (not the one on the news talking to the media) was arrested for child porn sometime late last year and in conjunction with this new finding I’m wondering if his brother didn’t take the hard drive out of the room before the police got there. Who else would take a computer to a crime scene, smash it, and dispose of the hard drive whereabouts unknown, all for child porn while in the middle of planning and executing the deadliest shooting in American history. This is all a very strange element to this investigation. It’s also pretty upsetting that the only reason we’re getting this report is because people were blasting Lombardo for being incompetent. His words.

More and more suspicious. Paddock’s remains were cremated while the shooting investigation is still ongoing.
The body of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock, the man behind the largest mass shooting in modern American history, has been cremated, his brother told the Review-Journal.
But the brother, Eric Paddock, said Wednesday that he has had a hard time over the past month getting Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg to deliver the remains to him in Orlando, Florida.
Paddock said Fudenberg told him Wednesday that he would not ship his brother’s ashes directly to him, so Paddock is coming to Las Vegas to get them.
“The coroner seems to think that there has to be some chain of custody because of the criminal investigation,” Paddock said. “But his remains have nothing to do with the investigation.”

Las Vegas police press conference. Regarding Oct 1st.. as an aside “We will be switching to a new radio system.”
From what I understand it’s so the public can’t listen to the scanners but if someone understands differently please correct me.
nnDMT420: They want all scanner audio encrypted. This is huge news as the public will now only know what they are told through the media. No first hand reports broadcasted live with no filter.
If I had to bet I’d bet this becomes the norm across the country. Pretty crazy as public tax money will be paying for this encryption.
Mixelplfft: Big brother comin in hard and fast.
Amazonistrash: Maybe it wasnt just about gun control. Maybe it was a such a conflicting reports shitshow intentionally so this could happen. No good reason to make all police radio chatter secret from the public? Here you go!
Maybe its also about further privacy invasion. Like, once the “investigation” is closed, theyll say “well weve determined that we now need to have cameras and microphones in all hotel rooms to prevent this sort if thing”.
Aye_or_Nay: it’s already trunked (transmitting and receiving on skipping frequencies – very difficult to follow, not like the old days, listening into what were essentially walkie-talkies on the same frequencies.
Now it will also be digitized and encrypted.
In the Documentary “What happened in Vegas” they exposed that the Casino’s have their own hotline to bypass the normal 911 system so they can protect highrollers who have “Incident’s”.
Just disgraceful.

Congressman Says He Has ‘Credible Evidence’ ‘Terrorists’ Involved in Vegas Massacre
The Vegas massacre, which is now being referred to as 1 October, has only gotten stranger as things progress. As TFTP reported on Thursday, the police have just entirely contradicted themselves and released information that there are multiple suspects in the shooting. Adding even more mystery to the already muddy waters of this tragedy, however, on Thursday, Republican lawmaker Scott Perry (R-PA) told reporter Tucker Carlson he has evidence ISIS may be involved in the deadly attack.
During the interview, Perry said that he was recently given credible evidence to suggest that Islamic State forces infiltrated the southern US border and were somehow involved in this incident.
“Recently I’ve been made aware of what I believe to be credible evidence regarding potential terrorist infiltration through the southern border regarding this incident… Twice before the attack ISIS warned the United States they would attack Las Vegas. In June and August. And then after the attack claimed responsibility four times… Something’s not adding up… I’m just telling you I have received what I feel to be and believe to be credible evidence of a possible terrorist nexus…”
A statement published by the group’s Amaq propaganda agency claimed the attacker was a “soldier of the Islamic State”.
“The Las Vegas attacker is a soldier of the Islamic State in response to calls to target coalition countries,” it said.
In a second statement, Isis claimed the gunman “converted to Islam several months ago”.
The wording of the release is similar to other attacks that have been inspired, rather than directed, by Isis.
The claim, which cannot be independently verified, came days after Isis released a speech purporting to be from the group’s leader.
Adding to the credibility of the ISIS claim, the group released a propaganda video last year, calling for lone wolf attackers—and featuring footage of the Las Vegas Strip, that they took in 2015.
The 44-minute long video called on its supporters to conduct attacks with any weapons they could find. It also featured footage of New York City and Washington D.C.
As TFTP reported in November, the predictions of attacks in New York also took place.
As Newsweek reported, the FBI’s Las Vegas field office told Fox News in a statement following the video’s publication that it was working with “international law enforcement, intelligence, and security services agencies to share information and intelligence.”
A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said: “We are always concerned when Las Vegas is mentioned by groups or individuals who subscribe to the idea of committing violence to further their cause.
“Our city has been mentioned in similar videos and publications but this most recent video should serve as a reminder to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.”
Naturally, this claim by ISIS could very well be lies and propaganda as an attempt to sew discord as they use this senseless violence to their advantage. However, when an actual Congressman comes forward, it may be time to pay attention.
