There are so many examples of governments hiring crazies to act as enforcers. So disgusting.
But remember! Let’s not confuse this with the need of government especially when we need government to regulate business! Without government we have polluted water ways, polluted air, no more wild life, child workers, terrible working conditions and more.
Its almost as if the people are held down by both big business AND government, and without collective action in the form of unions and political parties for the masses, we become slaves to corporate interests!
We need a party of socialist, environmentalist, unionists!
Tax the uber wealthy corporate powers to pay for universal Healthcare. Force an end to fossils fuels. Move to a 4 day work week. End over seas wars as they only kill the common man but assure NATO dominence through power projection and economic means. Get money out of politics. End corporate socialism.

I kind of knew you guys got your independence in the interwar period but I never knew how confused the fighting was.

Is it verified it was the Black and Tans who did this? It was the " Auxilary Division" according to Wikipedia. Although the difference for the Irish might have been of the academic sort.
