He’s all right? Are they insinuating he’s ‘taken care of’ wink wink?
“He’s all right” was a campaign slogan for the presidential election of Benjamin Harrison. This photo was used for Harrison’s campaign geared towards women, since Harrison was progressive and active in pursuing women rights. During the 1892 election, women could not vote (except in Wyoming who granted women suffrage to attract new settlers after they were signed into statehood by Benjamin Harrison), however women were a major influence in shaping the way their husbands voted. Thus, by targeting women they were targeting men.
