“Young queen Elizabeth in the way at mechanic shop.”
My favourite bit about this is since she learned to drive, later on she would drive and pickup visiting dignitaries herself if they visited her at Balmoral. Quite a shock for Saudi princes/kings to be driven around by a woman.
You know I’ve always wondered – was she deployed in WWII? Or was her assignments meddled with by the Royal Family due to the fact she was, you know, next in line for the throne? I.e. was this taken on the front, or at a non-combat operations center prepping the *vehicles* for deployment?
Hmmm… 5th Company Dark Angels?
Didn’t hundreds of thousands of women take up engineering jobs when the men were deployed over seas? Who gives a shit about some trust fund kid whose family made their fortune through stealing land off natives?
