He’s 21 here? I thought this was a 12 year old.
Omg. He’s a twink of a man at that age.
Can someone break down what that title means?
[Here](https://ww2db.com/image.php?image_id=9373) he is at the same age looking a bit older
Hassar’s uniforms are so iconic. They even influenced the SS uniforms iirc. Especially with the totenkopf.
How in hell did he become such an ugly man ?
Ooh ready to put Kitchener on blast in Sudan. Juicy
Those years of the stress of leading a nation, booze, cigars, and heavy diet really took a toll on the man.
At first glance I thought that was a Prussian uniform, probably because of the black.
I freaking love photographs of this quality from the 1800s to early 1900s. They really provide an insight into what the past once was. I also really like looking at old photographs from mental institutions. It’s just remarkable how things have changed in the past ~100 years.
So is that title like “Works in the mailroom with a silly hat”?
He looks like he’s on a battle field and inside a house lol.
In my opinion and I’m an American, he was one of the greatest leaders ever, shrewd and uncompromising, and I think was most responsible for saving Great Britain during WWII. That and along with the biggest balls of all, the pilots of the RAF with Dowdings leadership kept the Germans at bay long enough for them to abandon their plans to effect an invasion of the island. Call me crazy but he was a bad ass if there ever was one. The man had to make a lot of difficult decisions and was constantly second guessed. I’m sure I’ll get blasted for this because he was considered a racist or some other horse hockey. Bring it on.
Pardon my French, but Churchill could… Like… Get it
