Well fallout wasn’t as off as I thought it was
These were two-wheel vehicles that GM & Ford built as experimentals. Ford built the Gyron in 1961. They kept their balance by using large gyroscopes. Legs extended from the side when the car was parked.
Today, there are 2-wheeled experimentals that have the wheels located side by side.

I’m assuming it was also supposed to be nuclear powered?
It’s funny that in this imagined future car design is totally revolutionized, but gender roles survive unchanged.
