A Korean American carries a rifle to prevent rioters from entering a grocery store in Koreatown neighbourhood, during the riots in Los Angeles – 1992 [1200×800]
The rifle is also Korean. Looks like a Daewoo K1A1.

The world needs lots of roof Koreans nowadays

Thought this was taken in North Korea by the first sight.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it illegal to use deadly force to defend property? You can use deadly force only to defend yourself from imminent danger, but you can’t just randomly rooftop sniper some looters who attack your property, as that isn’t an imminent danger to your person. If one of them makes it to the roof and attacks you, then yeah, but if they’re just ransacking your store and you’re not in imminent danger, you can’t just shoot them. Property can be replaced and there is insurance against looters.

I may be wrong, but am genuinely curious.
