I live in the Ozarks and Silver dollar city in Branson is an 1880s based theme park. One of the rides is based off a bald knobber raid on a town, though its made more comedic since it’s a theme park.

I believe some of my ancestors were a part of the group. No one in the family knows why they left Taney County. It was after the Bald Knobbers had faded away, but there is talk of someone dying prematurely and my great grandpa needing to find a new home in a different part of the country somewhat suddenly. I do wish that they had picked a different name. The Treeless Hill Bunch would have stood the test of time a little better.
