Adverts on buses are pretty old I see, though it’s certainly not whiskey now, it’s basically always movie posters. When did ads on buses first start?

So long ago that there are no potholes in the road. (Looks like the Royal Exchange). And buses used to have a dozen or more adverts down each side (eg soap, tobacco), the change in advertising styles was down to London Transport & the window layout of newer buses
