Fuck. That’s pain there. Raw human emotion that anyone can feel. I hope she found closure and healed. Sending her soul a hug whenever she may be.

I couldn’t even imagine. I fear how she knows that’s her husband.

We now have relations with Vietnam – formerly North Vietnam. But after they won the Vietnam war, the communist North Vietnamese executed many former South Vietnamese government officials and military personnel. Plus anyone else they saw as a threat like religious people or professors. They imprisoned thousand more for “re-education”. When they temporarily captured the city of Hue during the Tet Offensive, the murdered hundreds of civilians.

Right wingers seem to want to recreate this kind of heartache on American soil right now it seems 🙁
Edit: I’ll take the downvotes but don’t forget the wife and family of a capitol officer had to unfortunately deal with something similar just this week… and now they are threatening armed repeats in all 50 states.

This reminds me that positivity can be toxic when it biases you to look the other way from grief and violence, which are such a fundamental part of the human soul and of human history. Not easy to accept or to voluntarily understand.
