There’s some irony in that he’s holding something named after Vyacheslav Molotov, the Soviet foreign minister.
They were actually still pro-communist, they were just anti-USSR control. They formed democratically run proletarian committees/councils and maintained free food and other necessities for workers.
It’s held as an example of Council Communist revolution.
My dad was a 56er from Szatymatz, he hated all forms of socialism/communism as “different branches of the poisonous tree of Marxism”
All the liberal communists are gonna downvote you just for the historically accurate title.
I like my Molotov shaken, not stirred. And no flame please.
I was told non-communists can’t be called revolutionary.
