This kinda thing is crazy. I don’t think I could imagine how it would feel to be stationed literally hanging off the side of a mountain, ready to fight at a moments notice. Also, the fact they actually built this blows me away.

Not all of the front was at this top positions, there were 11 battles without any progress, there were so many casualties througs flying rocks that were flying around because of granades and constant artillery… The part of Isonzo front that went through Slovenia was crazy, and also the pushback was achieved there against the 12. Italian offensive,I belive it was achieved because Sovenians were at risk of losing their territory to Italians altho they were an Austrian colony basicly. The most bitter thing for them is that the front was on their territory (very traumatising for the civilian population) they won the battle and pushed Italians back, but the half of the territory was given to Italians because they were under the AH flag and they were basicly the losers….
