It’s amazing how different it is now. My wife and I were there on our honeymoon a few years ago and it’s so built up and beautiful now.

I was there 2 years ago and it was covered in scaffolding… still got to see the sunset behind the statues on the top though which was beautiful.

Besides the park to the right (Tiergarten) and the square to the left, all that open area now has buildings on them. Kinda amazing how fast (at least this part of) Berlin progressed after the wall fell.

Is the building on the left side of the picture the Soviet embassy or is that farther east?
