Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, London, 1880s. The first dinosaur sculptures in the world, unveiled in 1854, before the publication of Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species. Although there are many inaccuracies, the sculptures are “Grade I Listed Buildings”, the same status as St Paul’s Cathedral.
