What I find interesting is the single rail and wheel – probably forming the ground to the drive circuit. I presume there was another rubber wheel beneath the far side, but I’m trying to figure out if the overhead rail has a steering component to it too or if it entirely relied on those two flanged ground wheels to guide it.

Never saw people smile in early photos. They always looked too serious.
