75 miles!!?? But they had lead-acid batteries then … and they stiil compete even with lithium-ion ones.
I’m skeptical of the range claim. Not only is that a lead-acid battery, the electric motors back then weren’t nearly as efficient.
Reverse image search (and a bit of Google Translate) tells me the picture is from 1916 and that it’s using a combustion engine on top of it.
