Finnish officer inspects a rifle caught from a Soviet sniper. A Mosin Nagant (7.62 x 54R, 189130 Model with Mira PE 1937), during the Winter War. February 13, 1940 [1080 x 1516]
Apparently the sniper versions of the mosin nagant was just a mosin nagant that’s produced better with a telescope

It wouldn’t be Simo Häyhä by any chance?

Just looking at the shape of this guy’s head you know he can take a punch.

Were the bolts on sniper models molded to face downward instead of straight out?
OozingBooze
What a sharp pic. I bet I could draw a chart of those gloves he’s wearing. Hmm…

I own a MN and I can tell you the kick of the 7.62 x 54R is shocking. I took it to the range right after getting it and after 5 rounds I put it down. I can’t imagine how my shoulder would feel after squeezing off 100’s of rounds a day.
