General view of the opening session of the Reichstag, Berlin, Aug. 30, 1932, showing the enourmous number of Nazis present at the session wearing their uniforms. [1200×884]
[According to Statistisches Reichsamt. Statistisches Jahrbuch für das Deutsche Reich Band 1941/1942. Berlin, Germany: 1943. Pp. 659, the Reichstag could hold 876 people. This image shows almost all seats filled on the lower level and at the top of the photo you can see people leaning on the railing. The Reichstag appears to be at almost full seating capacity and perhaps even standing room only at this session.]
Say what you will about Hitler but to go from giving speeches to drunks in beer halls to this is no was feat.

Some people seem to think every German was a Nazi, but this is after their most successful showing at the polls where Nazis received a mere 37.27% of the popular vote.
