Putt-Blug: Blatant misuse of water like this will lead to an inevitable fresh water problem in the near future. California is a special climate that can grow almost anything yet they lack sufficient rain. Continuing to add to the water debt in this area will results in massive amounts of agriculture in the area not being sustainable or the diversion of freshwater from other places.
Water control will become s huge power and leverage game. One could speculate that increasing and encouraging water misuse could accelerate the shortage and bring more chances for corruption, control, and power…
