It’s crazy how quickly we forget that this happened..

I knew there were internment Camps for Japanese and for Native Americans, but didn’t know some were in Utah.

Wow, we still have had these camps four months after the war ended?

Because no matter your legal situation, you can never be trully american if you are not white.
IoannesPiscis
Where was the American freedom there? Its all bullshit and its bad for ya!

You know there were German and Italian internment camps also. Pretty sure it had more to do with who we were are war with.

Baby New Year is wearing a 1945 sash. So it is actually Dec. 31st 1944. The war was still raging.

This really says a lot to the resolve and spirit of American Immigrants. These people had been put through hell, yet they’re still up for celebrating a new year. Even if it’s in a GD internment camp, jeez….
And I’m probably gonna to hell for saying this but that Father Time and Baby NY are adorable….

That’s right! You can NEVER truly be an American unless you’re White! Ding Ding Ding!! You FINALLY are catching on. What was your first clue? Was it OUR Constitution which CLEARLY STATES that ONLY free White persons may become American citizens?
So here’s the question, why do you continue to show up to be abused and oppressed by us horrible White folk? It seems y’all whine & complain about how horrible we are yet you can’t stay away.
And though you may have been brought against your will – you did have a choice in staying. You could have went back and you did not.
