It’s always fascinating to me to see the environments that artists create in. Growing up with his work you might imagine he wrote in a magically gorgeous garden full of color. I look at this and I think it looks, cold, drab, messy, even depressing. But that’s where he felt in the zone. This is a place he felt inspired to be in. I love it.
