Panther tank taken out by a Pershing. The battle was caught on film.
Is this photoshopped? The helmet on top of the sign looks impossibly tiny.
Why would this sign be in English? In theory, wouldn’t the only English speaking folks be the American soldiers who were part of "the fighting men" referenced in the sign?
Ah sight seers have now evolved into Instagram buffoons. Never caring about others but doing it for the gram.
I met the man who took out this tank. Clarance smoyer. Absolute delight of a man, the stories he told were amazing
For anyone interested, if you have Amazon Prime video, there’s a program that I enjoy called "Greatest Tank Battles" that covers the Battle of Cologne in Season 3 Episode 4 – The Battle for Germany. It has video footage intertwined with interviews from soldiers who were there.
Who is that sign directed at, certainly not actual sight seers?
