Spazz6768: The fact slavery is recent enough that we have pictures of it boggles my mind. To most of us, myself included, slavery feels like ancient history but every so often things like this remind me that it was only a a century and half ago.

Not sure if that’s a bushel, if the weight of one is condensed but those weight likely around 55 lbs. Per the internet they would pick 3.5 – 4 of those baskets per day.
