I liked soldiers when I was a kid. My earliest memory is of the military tank parade that went by my house after the liberation of Kuwait in 1991. I was just shy of 3 years old and the sky was dark from the burning oil fields. The coalition forces had their flags atop the tanks. My mother would tell me what country each flag belonged to as they passed by. Everytime I retrieve this memory it gets fainter and less plausible.
