Begging the question what crime did he commit
Not providing context is a dick move, OP.
Image of the dead body of Lazarus Averbuch held up in a chair by Captain Evans of the Chicago police department. Averbuch was an alleged anarchist who was shot and killed at Police Chief George M. Shippy’s house in Chicago, Illinois.
This is haunting in that he looks so alive. His eyes look sort of open in an expression of resignation. Had I not been told, I would not have known he was dead in this picture.
