That’s a lot of dudes. I thought they let the women and children on the boats first.
Is that a body bag?
Dude on the far right looks like he saw some shit.
Could you imagine? “We booked you guys on a boat home.”
Dad’s side lost family members on the Titanic. Probably in stowage if I know my family, haha.
The lady is the perfect picture of happiness. “We survived that shit!”
WTF i know that guy with the bag over his shoulder, and he’s still the same age! That’s him I’m 100% sure.
We still poke our heads out when trying to get in the picture frame.
[Here are a few more from the set](https://imgur.com/a/9Nn0iAx). There are likely very few actual survivors in this picture as these were taken of families waiting in Southhampton for survivors to return. If you look in the back you see people peaking over looking for their family member or loved one.
FUNFACT: If you were a crew member of the Titanic your pay immediately stopped when the ship went down. White Star Line did eventually make payouts to survivors of what they would have been paid if the voyage had been completed. Furthermore, (in a desperate attempt to ease public relations) they later gave survivors an additional payment of what amounted to two weeks wages.
