View of Salisbury Crags from Edinburgh
The rope isn’t even attached to anything. It’s just tying them together.
I do hope they sewed lead weights into their hems. Cliffs can be so windy, and up skirt photos back in those days could destroy a lady’s reputation. Further, the queen would not be amused. https://www.insider.com/royal-family-controversial-outfits-2019-1 https://www.harpersbazaar.com.sg/life/meghan-markle-kate-middleton-dress-style-tip/
So many questions: shoes, harness, anchor points, etc. WOW big balls on those ladies.
In dresses and fancy shoes? Dam hey, that is really impressive and pretty Ummm..hardcore
Wild guess, but I’m assuming their not wearing “everyday” dresses and shoes, even though I can’t imagine climbing in a long dress. Pants were worn by woman then but I don’t think very commonly. So I’m assuming they had a specific shape dress for extension and shoes for, I don’t know, grip? Again just assumptions here
I saw this movie! The one with the red hair drinks from the falls at the top then finds a witch in the woods and turns her mom into a bear! Crazy good! I hope my daughters have as much confidence as them!
For anybody interested: This one youtuber made a video about climbing while wearing this type of dress
