This shot tilted whole structure. After the war building was ‘nationalised’ by Polish communist government. For few years on the roof nested an eagle. Ruin was often depicted in anti-war posters. In years 1950-53 it was renovated in socialist realism style, and became a hotel. Hotel was closed in 2002, later sold to bulding/civil engeenering company, and later to private family. In years 2010-18 it was renovated, and socialist realism elements were removed. Later in 2018 it was reopen as 5 star hotel Warszawa.
