William David "Dave" Sanders (October 21, 1951-April 20, 1999) was a computer and business teacher at Columbine for 25 years, and coach of the girls’ basketball and softball teams.
During the massacre on April 20th 1999, Dave helped save the lives of over 100 students in the school, but was unfortunately shot by Eric Harris and died a few hours later. He left behind his wife, four children and five grandchildren.
