I wonder what Russians think about free market "shock therapy" when they compare China to Russia today. China never disintegrated because the Communist Party kept its power.
I wonder what would have happened in China for that matter, if Tienanmen had led to the fall of the CCP. Would they be a bigger economic powerhouse than they are now, or would their economy have devolved into chaos like in Russia in the 90s?
