The New York Times had an article with this photo and a few others. It’s worth checking out – https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/18/nyregion/vintage-new-york-blizzards-photos.html
Yeah, those **winter** blizzards are the worst.
Say what you will about automobiles and their negative environmental effects, at least the streets of New York and other major cities aren’t filled with horses being worked to death (or already dead).
Looks like one of the loading screens from RDR2
Snow or dust?
I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not damage the oil and the wine.”
This is the year my grandmother was born. Crazy to think that she was around for this stuff, and still around to watch Desperate Housewives 90 something years later. She died in 2013
Correction – this is me going through St. Dennis.
