Führer is a German word meaning “leader” or “guide”. As a political title it is associated with the Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler. Nazi Germany cultivated the Führerprinzip, and Hitler was generally known as just der Führer. Wikipedia
He certainly loved animals more than people. He killed millions of people but was a vegetarian. What a monster!

I’m not entirely sure if the translation is correct. I think more correct would be “Love to animals – The Führer has it before anyone else”. Saying that the Führer loves animals more than people wouldn’t be good propaganda

But, but… Didn’t he call “undesirables” animals

The squirrel is doing a Roman salute.
Are we sure he wasn’t training them?

Reminds me of that squirrel-rat monologue in Inglorious Basterds

One might be inclined to offer a different take on the picture, if you don’t mind:
The murderous autocrat gives a scrap to the squirrel. As he does, he says: “All you have to do is salute me and I’ll feed you. Look, I even fed this squirrel”. Later, the squirrel was fed to the Fuhrer’s cat thus becoming a metaphor for the cost of surrendering to dictators.

Yeah he loved animals so much he equated most of the European population to them.

I recently saw some documentaries where he was presented and wherever he went and saw an animal would stop playing with it

He really did like animals. I highly recommend the two part biographies of Hitler by Volcker Ulrich. Shows that Hitler had a human side in a way that emphasizes how this makes him even more evil than the caricature we sometimes get. Really interesting.

This is officially the last thing I expected to see when I got up this morning
Göring prohibited vivisection and said that those who “still think they can continue to treat animals as inanimate property” would be sent to concentration camps.

I wonder if any pictures exist of Adolf feeding his nuts to Eva Braun

The fact that OP, posting a pic of Hitler doing something nice, has a ton of right-wing disinformation subs in his history is a total coincidence, I’m sure!

People should feel less disgust and instead use him as a teaching example for various degrees of mental illness.

So… does it say to Germans that he loves squirrels more than Germany?

Begs the question feeding squirrels to what?

Oh the irony that he characterized Jews as vermin that needed to be exterminated, but is self-purported to be an animal lover

Hitler loved animals, especially his female German Shepherd “Blondi”. He always kept her by his side and even allowed her to sleep in his bed in the bunker.
