These Mustangs look seriously bad-ass and I hate saying it, but vastly superior to my favourite Spitfires.
I guess technology moved fast in the war, so that by 1945 when this was taken, Mustangs were streaks ahead of the Battle of Britain (1940) era Spitfires anyway.
