Just in time for Christmas the Washington Post laments the cholera epidemic in Yemen caused by the U.S.-Saudi war on the country: One million people have caught cholera in Yemen. You should be outraged.
TheSalvation: “Hides it’s role”. How do you explain all of these:

Take a look at moonofalabama.org. It’s pro-government, blog spam propaganda willing to say anything to defend the current administration.
stopreddcensorship: We should send the Sea Bees and a bunch of heavy equipment over there and train those people to build their own infrastructure instead of spending money on white hot death. I won’t hold my breath though since we cant even do that in the US.
standard_armadillo: Is there anyone out there anymore, who does not recognize Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post as a bought out media mouthpiece for political/ideological hogwash?
And do you suppose there are any such people here in who would believe one word they published, outside of the paid keyboard warriors?
The Wapo is so d-listed even the Daily Mail doesn’t cite them as a reference anymore.
MacThule: Yemen has been under assault for years now.
The U.S. & other international actors abroad are only *now* interested in getting involved since Saud has accomplished the key assassinations they wanted to there and now it’s just a mess that needs to be cleaned up.
axolotl_peyotl: >There is not one word about all that that in Washington Post piece. According to the Post the U.S simply does not exist in that war. It is a “Saudi campaign” and “Saudi coalition” that wages the war and causes the cholera without one word that the U.S. and UK are part of it.
>Apparently it is editorial policy of the Washington Post to never mention the U.S. culpability in that war. Earlier reports, editorials and op-eds also make no mention of U.S. military role in the war.
Tinkeringhalo10: Moon over Alabama is a go to publication
BeezelyBillyBub: that’s amazon for you, just remember the starving kids this xmas when you order online
One million people have contracted cholera in Yemen. Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post says Americans should be outraged. This is a stellar example of how propaganda can deceive the American public by simply omitting the American Government’s essential role in the tragedy of the ‘Saudi’ war against Yemen.
Sachyriel:
I dunno if you mean WaPo itself or the larger media landscape, but they’ve been pretty vocal about Americas involvement in the War.
randomdood81: This is a T_D like post, your Two Minutes of Hate.
And like all good propaganda, it’s based on a lie:
**Saudi Arabia’s arms deals are buying the West’s silence over Yemen, activists allege**
