Chinese doctor says goodbye to his wife before going to Wuhan to help treat Coronavirus patients
Uplifting News Of The Day
5pm today, 20 patients with coronavirus pneumonia were discharged from Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital. Among them, the maximum age was 64 and the minimum age was 15. This is the largest number of simultaneous discharges since the outbreak. Up to now, 72 cases of confirmed patients have been discharged.
Get Well Soon, Wuhan
This clever cartoon has been circulating here in China. the patient in the bed is meant to be a hot and dry noodle, which is the signature dish from Wuhan. In the window are specialty foods from the other provinces of China, sending well wishes and urging Wuhan to keep fighting!
I’m not artistically inclined at all, but I think it would be cool if we could make one in return. Change out the china foods in the window with foods around the world. Like tacos, cheeseburgers, pasta, sushi, etc.
When in doubt, blame communism

Bespoke: Xi shrunk down to microscopic size and told coronavirus to infect people
I can’t believe President Xi told the Coronavirus to infect people 😭😭😭

World Health Organization:
“China is doing the right things, and China is responding in a massive way,” “We’ve seen no obvious lack of transparency.”
Dr. Michael Ryan, executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Program
The World Health Organization doubled down on its praise for China today, saying that it has made an unprecedented effort that is beyond what is necessary, and that they have full confidence it will be able to be contained. Contrary to the fear mongering western media, WHO remains confident China will eventually contain its outbreak.
So, How Worried Should We Be?
The Truth Is More People Died From Flu Than Coronavirus
How deadly is the Wuhan Coronavirus? | ABC News
At this stage, it appears more contagious but less deadly than SARS, a similar disease that swept through China and the world in 2002 infecting more than 8000 people and killing more than 750.
SARS had a fatality rate of 9.6% whereas the Wuhan virus has only a 2.2% fatality rate so far.
Anyway, it’s not spreading much outside China.
Just like Influenza, Cornovirus is not exactly a terminal disease like HIV/AIDS per se. The problem is Coronavirus is new and as such, there is nothing to stop it yet.
By February 10-17 we will know how worried we should be.
There are too many factors at the moment to be sure, but this page helps, or doesn’t depending on your point of view.
Because they have the confirmed case and in 10 days or so it’ll be clear if there’s any spread from the virus. (There will be) it’s a case of how badly rather than if at all.
Plus, solutions are already in place waiting for authorization. For example,

It’s not racist to say Chinese citizens need to tighten up their food standards and stop eating low-grade meats.
There are a lot of racist sentiments floating around as a result of the coronavirus spread, but this is not one of them. This is simply trying to encourage a healthier lifestyle for the sake of the Chinese people and (apparently) the rest of the world. This isn’t the first outbreak caused by exposure to rare and tainted meat that shouldn’t be eaten to begin with.
Holding Chinese citizens accountable for poor food standards is not calling out a specific RACE. Chinese citizens come from all walks of life. There are white Chinese citizens, black Chinese citizens, asian, etc. All of them need to stop eating bats and wild, tainted animals.
Same argument goes for banning flights, etc. The argument doesn’t target a race. It targets all races, genders, etc from a geographic location.

As a Chinese citizen I agree with this guy. Have you seen videos on Chinese internet where mothers feed their kids live tadpoles to ‘make their kids healthier’?
